WEDDING CARDS

The 4th of July weekend is almost here! Hope you all beautifully blessed and safe Holiday.

It is sunny and warm here so It seems like a great time for a Summer Wedding.  Here are a few wedding cards... in Red, White, and Blue none the less (well, teal, but close enough).

I saw these simple heart cards all over and wanted to try them.

I think the Damask embossing gives it a touch of elegance.

Supply List:

  • Cricut Explore in Design Space (for the hearts, bow tie, tags, and "Mr. and Mrs.")
  • Cardstock  (most likely CTMH in black, red, teal, and white))
  • Black ribbon
  • Pearls
  • Sentiment comes from the Anna Griffin "Anna's Garden and Embellishments" Cricut cartridge
  • Embossing folder  (older one by Provo Craft)
  • Die cut (for the label/tag on the white card) with my  Cuttlebug

I think they came out very nice.   What do you think?

Blogs and challenges I am posting these on:

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

God Bless and Happy Scrappin'!

Simple Sea Shell Card

This one was so easy with my Cricut in Design Space

It has a Cricut star(fish) - Criteria for a challenges I am entering over at Bitten by the Bug 2

Sentiment: "To let you know how important you are to me"
I used Don Juan font - I should have spaced it out more.

For the My Sheri Challenge
I stamped  a shooting rocket and a star on the inside on the cards (along with a sentiment) and added the rocket to the front of the envelopes and a star on the back closure for that added touch (no photo of the boxalopes - sorry)

I took the left overs from edges of the rosettes and lined them up

MORE BOX CARDS (MY WAY)

As I mentioned in my last post – I am loving the All Occasion Box Card Cartridge from Lori Whitlock.

But…. I have my own style too, so here are some  more cards using just her base (the box part) and welding all my own cuts and other Cricut images (or web images as is the case with the Dr. Seuss ) to a long rectangle and doing my own scoring with my Cricut Explore.

I used Spring Cottage for these cuts and welded to a base box card
Patterned paper for the Simon Says Stamp Blog and The Diva's that cut...paper

Added a space for a persona note.

I used Anna Griffin pearl paper.
The nice shimmer didn't show in the picture to well

I always like to add that holder for a gift card or personal note card on the back.

And who doesn't like a nice  Dr. Seuss card for graduation?  Found some perfect clip art on the web and had Cricut Design Space cut is for me (had to do just a little fussy cutting as well).   again - I added a matching gift card on back (no picture)

Lastly a few birthday cards

BOX CARDS

I have been going goo goo for the new All Occasion Box Card Cartridge from Lori Whitlock.  So here are several I have done in the last month or two.  They include Birthday, Graduation, Mother’s Day, Baby, and Wedding.  Love, love, love these box cards.
MOTHER'S DAY CARD

They fold up flat and the flaps flip up to keep safe for mailing.!
I used some clear left over packaging and cut strips to give a “floating image”.

WEDDING CARD

Added embossing from an Anna Griffin Folder and some mini pearls for an extra touch - lovely!

FOR THE GRADUATE

I added some of my own cuts for the "Class of 2016" and some balloons that were not on the original cut file.

Gift card holder added to back of box.

WELCOME LITTLE ONE

I added a coordinating gift card holder for these.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (sharing this with The Paper Players blog)

I welded two pieces together, added a fold line to give a little spot for a personnel note

I used the clear plastic here for the base -  love how the explore can cut through so many materials.

I used left over packaging strips again to give a “floating image”.
I added addition Cricut cuts to come of these to give them my own touch. .

This cartridge is not included in Cricut Access and requires an additional purchase -  It is so worth it for these cute pop up boxes.

I will be posting a few more of my own designs soon.

Father's Day Cards

Father’s day is just around the corner (This Sunday June 19th) so here are a few cards I made to sell and send. Also on Hiding in MY Craft Room challenge HIMCR255

This on is my own idea using a really cute "Tie"  embossing folder from Darice. (yes , I changed the you'er  to you're after I took the picture and before I sent to the store - oppsies! )
Inside: You're the #1 Dad
Thanks for being a real Winsor!

Next up is one from Cricut Access  @ https://us.cricut.com/design/#/landing/project-detail/10559

I just changed color scheme and added my own inside sentiment.

And for all the super dads out there -

Notes:   Since I have made so many cards as of late I am just going to post them without much commentary on the process.  However, if you would like any specifics, Please, please, please feel free to PM and I will be happy to get you any info I can.   Please note that most die cuts and embossing are done with a Cricut machine and/or the Cuttlebug.

Have a wonderful  time with the father's in your life this weekend.

God Bless and happy Scrappin'!
